Begin water quality project. Students will use given background information and GIS data to analyze a water source with a potential water quality problem. Over the next several days, students will analyze a sample representative of macroinvertebrates, compare water quality data to established standards, and determine proximity to potential sources of pollution to find out why their water source is contaminated- or why not. Assignments will be handed out in class and information posted on the water quality project page.

Journey of a Water Drop: Students assumed the role of a water drop, moving through the water cycle via stations in the classroom. After completing their journey, students wrote a story about their "travels"
